Five Wents Hall


This is the Internet Website for the Hall which we hope will prove useful.Please be patient navigating the menu as we have included additional pages which may not be immediately obvious. It was originally built after the First World War of 1914-1918 becoming known as the Swanley War Memorial Institute.It is run by a Board of Trustees under that name and is a Registered Charity with a registration number 302854.The building provides facilities for the local community of Swanley,Swanley Village and Hextable and is in use every morning in the school terms by a Childrens Playgroup, at other times by Clubs and Societies in the area. It can also be hired for Anniversaries, Childrens Parties, Music and other Events.We have featured some of the activities on the other pages of our site so please visit and see what is going on. Each year the Hall hosts a Remembrance Service in November .The location is on the main road halfway between Swanley and Hextable at the junction with Highlands Hill leading to Swanley Village and New Barn Road.
